Bible question

Is there anything in the Bible about “pulling the plug” on terminally ill patients?

There is very little in the Bible that regulates the situation of which you speak. There is no biblical mandate to extend one's life at any cost or effort. At the same time, life is a gift from God and should be respected and protected.

Murder is the deliberate taking of innocent life. Refusing some treatment or extraordinary measures to prolong life does not constitute murder. This differs significantly from those who advocate assisted suicide, which is not simply letting nature take its course, but rather is a deliberate attempt to kill.

Additionally, personal consent to assisted suicide does not negate its sinfulness.

I know you waited awhile for so very little information, but I hope what is here will help. You might search www.christiancourier.com for additional information.
