How does it work?
HtH is generally used in direct mailings
to homes in a desired area. Most congregations saturate local mail
routes in an effort to increase evangelism close to home. The cost
to print and mail HtH ranges from $220-$270 per thousand,
depending on whether or not you do your own mailing or have
Jacksonville do it for you.
As HtH is a bi-monthly publication, a
congregation doing its own mailing (and it's EASY
to do it yourself!) can get the gospel into 1000 households (=
3000-4000 people) six times yearly for about $110-$130 a month!
For an additional $70 per thousand ($35 a month), congregations
can have HtH mailed directly to their area from Jacksonville. The
additional costs includes the higher postage rate and handling
charges. No profit is made by the
Jacksonville church in this effort. Everything is
provided at our cost to maximize the number of households
receiving HtH. Because we are able to print so many at a time, our
discount is passed on to you, allowing your church to print the
publication cheaper than you could alone.
