College Program
One of the most encouraging works of the Jacksonville church of Christ is the program designed for our college students. By being located in a college town, every year we come into contact with many young people who love the Lord and are eager to learn how to serve Him better.
Josh Romo
Josh played college baseball at Volunteer State Community College for two
years before attending the Memphis School of Preaching. Upon graduation from
MSOP, he entered into a work with the Lineville church of Christ in June 2006.
Josh came to work with us at the Jacksonville church of Christ in December 2007
to work as the college minister. He enjoys the outdoors and loves to hunt
and fish. He’s in his office (located next to the church
building) Monday through Friday from 8:00 - 4:00. He and his wife Ashley are very excited about the work and are looking
forward to helping our program grow.

Monday
Night Devos
For many students, the highlight of their week is the devotional held on Monday nights. With a home-cooked meal, singing, Bible study, and fellowship, it is exactly the encouragement they need while trying to walk the Christian walk during this difficult part of their life.
The devotionals start at 6:30 pm on Monday nights when classes are in session. We will eat a meal at the fellowship hall at about 6:30, then go over to student center at about 7:00 to sing songs to our Creator and hear a lesson from God's Word. A group activity is planned for after the devo. Come check us out - Visitors are especially welcome!
